Capabilities & machinery

50,000 books in 2 days. One family. Zero outsourcing.

Pre-press, press, bindery and finishing all sit under our own roof in Kolhapur. Nothing gets handed to a third party — which is why nothing gets lost, and why we can tell you exactly where your job is.

The floor

What actually runs here.

An offset press inking unit running 4-colour sheets.
Press

Sheet-fed offset

4-colour, up to A2 sheet size. Covers, inserts, children's titles and anything where the colour has to be right first time.

A web-fed offset press running a continuous paper web through the folder tower.
Press

Web-fed press

High-volume monochrome text runs. This is the machine that makes a 50,000-copy textbook order economically possible.

A press operator checking colour on a printed sheet at an inspection console.
Pre-press

In-house CTP

Computer-to-plate plate-making and colour proofing. Your proof is made on the same plates that will run the job — not a different device pretending.

Printed sheets moving at speed through the folding and delivery section.
Bindery

Bindery

Perfect bound and pin binding — the two finishes that hold up to real classroom and shelf life, job after job.

Finishing and punching work at Lokmangal Mudranalay, Kolhapur.
Finishing

Finishing

UV lamination, die-cutting and embossing. The department that turns a book into a gift edition.

Palletised, shrink-wrapped books loaded into a container at the despatch bay.
Despatch

Palletising + container bay

We load the container ourselves, on site. Shrink-wrapped, corner-protected, and counted against the packing list before the doors close.
